Η Ιστορία της Φρίντας – Από την εγκατάλειψη στην ευτυχία

Το φιλοζωικό σωματείο Σάμου περιγράφει τη ζωή της Φρίντας, μιας σκυλίτσας που αντιμετώπισε πολλές δυσκολίες αλλά τελικά βρήκε την ευτυχία. Η ιστορία της Φρίντας αποτελεί αντανάκλαση της σκληρής πραγματικότητας που βιώνουν πολλά αθώα πλάσματα και πρέπει να ακουστεί.

“Μια σκυλίτσα δεσποζόμενη, που εγκαταλείφθηκε έγκυος σε ένα απομακρυσμένο χωριό.

Εκεί ξεκίνησε ο δύσκολος αγώνας της για επιβίωση: που να γεννήσει τα μωρά της, που να βρει τροφή, νερό, στέγη; Η τύχη της δεν την εγκατέλειψε εντελώς καθώς βρήκε φίλους που την αγκάλιασαν με αγάπη , προσφέροντας της φαγητό και μια ασφαλή γωνία στην αυλή τους. Οι περισσότεροι κάτοικοι του χωριού αγάπησαν σύντομα την γενναία μάνα και τα κουταβάκια της. Με την βοήθεια μιας ολλανδικής οργάνωσης όλα τα μικρά βρήκαν σπίτια και ζεστές αγκαλιές. Μόνο ένα κουταβάκι έμεινε μαζί της. Η Φρίντα στειρώθηκε την κατάλληλη στιγμή, έλαβε ηλεκτρονική σήμανση και εμβολιάστηκε. Ακόμα και για την αποπαρασίτωση της φροντίζαμε τακτικά.

Αφού όλα ήταν καλώς, γιατί συνεχίστηκε να ενοχλεί η παρουσία της;;

Η Φρίντα δυστυχώς δεν είχε μόνο φίλους – ελάχιστοι κακόβουλοι κάτοικοι του χωριού την καταδίωκαν καθημερινά κάνοντας την ζωή της κόλαση: Κάθε μέρα η Φρίντα αντιμετώπιζε βία: πέτρες, μαγκούρες, φωνές και βρισιές. Στα μάτια της μπορούσες εύκολα να διακρίνεις την προσπάθεια της να καταλάβει τις προθέσεις όσων την πλησίαζαν. Ήταν ξεκάθαρο πως ήξερε να ξεχωρίζει τους καλούς από τους κακούς. Ακολουθούσαν χαρές για τους πρώτους και γαυγίσματα για τους δεύτερους. Παρ’ όλη την υποστήριξη της Φρίντας από τους περισσότερους κατοίκους αλλά και του Σωματείου μας, δεν σταμάτησαν τα παράπονα, οι άδικες και αβάσιμες κατηγορίες.

Δυστυχώς, δεν επικράτησε η λογική και η δικαιοσύνη:

Ο Δήμος αποφάσισε να απομακρύνει τη σκυλίτσα από το χωριό της για να βάλει ένα τέλος στις συνεχείς γκρίνιες. Στη συνέχεια επανένταξε τη Φρίντα σε ένα άγνωστο για αυτήν μέρος. Εννοείται πως μέλη του Σωματείου μας την παρακολουθούσαν στενά στην καινούρια της περιοχή. Η Φρίντα βρέθηκε ξαφνικά χαμένη σε ένα ξένο τόπο, οι πρώτες μέρες ήταν σκληρές. Η απόγνωση και η σύγχυση, που βλέπαμε σε αυτήν την συμπαθητική σκυλίτσα μας στεναχώρησαν αφάνταστα. Της δείξαμε που να βρει φαγητό, νερό, ακόμα και ένα σκυλόσπιτο του Δήμου. Όμως τίποτα δεν μπορούσε να την ηρεμήσει. Η ψυχή της ζητούσε τους φίλους της, το παιδί της, τα μέρη της.

Πέρασαν μέρες μέχρι να προσαρμοστεί: Στο νέο της χωριό, τα πράγματα ήταν διαφορετικά.

Δεν την κυνηγούσε κανείς, δεν ήταν “ανεπιθύμητη”. Αντίθετα, πολλοί, κυρίως τουρίστες την αγκάλιασαν με αγάπη: με γλυκά λόγια, χάδια, την προσφορά τροφής και λιχουδιών. Μερικοί ακόμη την φιλοξενούσαν στο σπίτι τους. Η Φρίντα άρχισε πάλι να χαρεί τη ζωή και σύντομα έγινε η αγαπημένη μασκότ του χωριού και των τουριστών.

Δυστυχώς, η ΜΟΙΡΑ είχε άλλα σχέδια. Μια μέρα δέχθηκε επίθεση ενός άλλου σκύλου και τραυματίστηκε σοβαρά. Μια εθελόντρια την έσωσε , τη μετέφερε στο γιατρό και στη συνέχεια την φιλοξένησε στο σπίτι της μέχρι να αναρρώσει πλήρως.

Για το Σωματείο μας πλέον ήταν απόλυτη προτεραιότητα να βρούμε ένα μόνιμο σπίτι για την ταλαιπωρημένη σκυλίτσα και οι εκκλήσεις μας είχαν ανταπόκριση. Φίλοι μας Γερμανοί συγκινήθηκαν με την ιστορία της Φρίντας, την πήραν μαζί τους έχοντας υπόψη τους γνωστούς, που έψαχναν για μια σκυλίτσα. Και τώρα αρχίζει το Happy End. Με την πρώτη γνωριμία την ερωτεύτηκαν και την πήραν στο σπίτι τους. Κάθε μέρα η Φρίντα τους χαρίζει ευτυχία και χαρά. Εκείνοι με ευγνωμοσύνη λένε : “ Έχουμε δίπλα μας την καλύτερη σκυλίτσα του κόσμου!”.

Μετά από τόσες δοκιμασίες η Φρίντα βρήκε την ευτυχία που της άξιζε. Πόσα όμως άλλα σκυλάκια δεν έχουν την ίδια τύχη;;; Πόσα δεν θα βρουν ποτέ τη δικαιοσύνη και την αγάπη που τόσο πολύ αξίζουν;;;”

FRIEDA – A STRAY DOG’S FATE WITH TRAGIC TWISTS – AND A HAPPY ENDING

Frieda’s story is representative of many stray fates and their harsh living conditions. She

therefore deserves special attention:

Frieda was an ‘owner dog’ who was abandoned in a remote mountain village while pregnant.

This is where the difficult struggle for survival begins: where would she give birth to her young, where would she find food, water and shelter? Fortunately, the lovable dog soon met friends who took her to their hearts, offered her food and a safe place in their garden. Most of the villagers also took a liking to the brave dog and later on also her puppies, almost all of whom found a home with the help of a Dutch organization. Only one of the puppies stayed with Frieda permanently. At the right time, Frieda was sterilized, chipped and vaccinated. Our organization also took care of her regular parasite treatment.

So everything was in perfect order – and yet Frieda’s presence was a nuisance: unfortunately, Frieda didn’t just have friends, a few begrudging villagers made life difficult for her, throwing stones at her every day, hitting her with a stick or abusing her and insulted her. We could see in her eyes that she was trying to assess a new opponent as quickly as possible. Of course, she could instinctively tell the “good guys” from the “bad guys”.

She would treat the former with a wagging tail and the latter with barking.

Although Frieda had the sympathy of most of the villagers and, of course, the support of our association, the constant complaints, unjust accusations and baseless condemnations of a few malicious citizens were heard.

The municipality decided to “relocate” Frieda. And so Frieda was taken to another village, unknown to her. Of course, members of the association looked after the dog, but they couldn’t do anything to change her distraught and lost state, which affected us more than anything. We showed her where she could find food, water and even a dog kennel provided by the local authority, but Frieda didn’t want to eat or rest. She searched almost manically for her friends, her son, her familiar surroundings…

It took several days for her to come to terms with the changed situation and gradually settle in.

Over time, she realized that she was welcome in the ‘new’ village, that the people, especially the tourists

were well-disposed towards her, spoke to her in a friendly manner and spoiled her with cuddles, food and treats.

Sometimes she was even allowed to sleep in the house. Frieda began to enjoy her life again.

She soon became a popular mascot of the village and the vacationers.

And once again she was dealt a new blow: she was attacked by a dog and seriously injured.

One of our volunteers immediately provided her with medical care and looked after her during her recovery.

It was now a top priority for our organization to finally find a home for the dog, who had been so badly hit by fate, and our efforts were successful. Friends from Germany were so touched by Frieda’s story that they immediately decided to take Frieda with them and introduce her to friends who were

who were looking for a female dog. And now the happy ending begins. The couple fell in love with Frieda from the very first moment.

Frieda, she was allowed to move in with them straight away and has enriched their everyday lives ever since. “We’ve got the best dog in the world

in the world” they often assure us, full of gratitude.

After so many twists of fate, Frieda has finally found the happiness she so richly deserves.

But how many other four-legged friends don’t have this happiness, even though they also more than deserve it?

FRIEDA – EIN STREUNERSCHICKSAL MIT TRAGISCHEN WENDUNGEN – UND EINEM HAPPY END

Friedas Geschichte steht stellvertretend für viele Streunerschicksale und deren harte Lebensumstände. Sie

verdient deshalb besondere Aufmerksamkeit:

Frieda war eine ‘Besitzerhündin’, die im Stadium der Trächtigkeit in einem abgelegenen Bergdorf ausgesetzt wurde.

Hier beginnt der schwierige Überlebenskampf: wo sollte sie ihre Jungen gebären, wo Futter, Wasser und Unterschlupf

finden?? Zum Glück traf die liebenswerte Hündin bald Freunde, die sie ins Herz schlossen, ihr Futter und ein sicheres Plätzchen in ihrem Garten boten. Auch die meisten Dorfbewohner mochten die tapfere Hündin und später dann

auch ihre Welpen, die mit Hilfe einer holländischen Organisation fast alle ein Heim fanden. Nur einer der Welpen blieb dauerhaft bei Frieda. Zum geeigneten Zeitpunkt wurde Frieda sterilisiert, gechipt und geimpft. Auch um ihre regelmäßige Parasitenbehandlung kümmerte sich unser Verein.

Alles in bester Ordnung also – und trotzdem störte Friedas Präsenz: leider hatte Frieda nicht nur Freunde, eine wenige missgünstige Dorfbewohner machten ihr das Leben schwer, tagtäglich bewarfen sie die Hündin mit Steinen, schlugen

mit dem Stock nach ihr oder beschimpften sie. In ihren Augen konnten wir den Versuch sehen, ein neues Gegenüber schnellstmöglich einzuschätzen. Freilich konnte sie instinktiv die “Guten” von den “Bösen” unterscheiden.

Erstere bedachte sie mit Schwanzwedeln, die zweite Kategorie mit Bellen.

Obwohl Frieda die Sympathien der meisten Dorfbewohner und natürlich auch die Unterstützung unseres Vereins

hatte, fanden die ständigen Klagen, ungerechten Anschuldigungen und haltlosen Verurteilungen einiger weniger

böswilliger Bürger Gehör: die Gemeinde entschied, Frieda “umzusiedeln”. Und so brachte man Frieda in ein anderes,

ihr unbekanntes Dorf. Selbstverständlich betreuten Vereinsmitglieder die Hündin, konnten aber nichts an ihrer Verstörtheit und Verlorenheit ändern, die uns mehr als betroffen machten. Wir zeigten ihr, wo sie Futter, Wasser, ja sogar eine von der

Gemeinde bereitgestellte Hundehütte finden konnte, aber Frieda wollte weder fressen noch zur Ruhe kommen. Fast manisch suchte sie pausenlos nach ihren Freunden, ihrem Sohn, der ihr vertrauten Umgebung…

Es dauerte mehrere Tage bis sie sich mit der veränderten Situation arrangierte und sich allmählich eingewöhnte.

Mit der Zeit stellte sie fest, dass sie im ‘neuen’ Dorf willkommen war, dass die Menschen, insbesondere die Touristen

ihr wohlgesonnen waren, freundlich mit ihr sprachen, sie mit Streicheleinheiten, Futter und Leckerbissen verwöhnten.

Manchmal durfte sie sogar im Haus schlafen. Frieda begann, sich wieder ihres Lebens zu freuen und es zu genießen.

Bald wurde sie ein gern gesehenes Maskottchen des Ortes und der Urlauber.

Und wieder einmal traf sie ein neuer Schicksalsschlag: sie wurde von einem Hund attackiert und ernsthaft verletzt.

Eine unserer Freiwilligen sorgte umgehend für ihre medizinische Versorgung und betreute sie während ihrer Genesung.

Für unseren Verein war es nun oberste Priorität, endlich ein Heim für die so sehr vom Schicksal gebeutelte Hündin

zu finden und unsere Bemühungen waren erfolgreich. Freunde aus Deutschland waren so gerührt von der Geschichte

Friedas, dass sie sofort entschieden, Frieda mit sich zu nehmen und sie Bekannten vorzustellen, die nach

einer Hündin suchten. Und jetzt beginnt das Happy End. Das Ehepaar verliebte sich vom ersten Moment an in

Frieda, sie durfte gleich bei ihnen einziehen und bereichert seitdem deren Alltag. “Wir haben den besten Hund der Welt

bekommen” versichern sie uns oft und voller Dankbarkeit.

Nach so vielen Schicksalswendungen hat Frieda endlich das Glück gefunden, das sie so sehr verdient hat.

Aber wie viele andere Vierbeiner haben nicht dieses Glück, obwohl auch sie es mehr als verdient hätten??
